The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is running yet another traffic enforcement sting starting today. According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office, deputies will pay special attention to speed enforcement in Port Charlotte along Edgewater Drive from US41 to Midway Blvd. and in Punta Gorda along Burning Tree Lane. Traffic light enforcement will also be in place in Englewood at Winchester Blvd. and S. McCall Rd. and in Port Charlotte at Kings Highway and Veterans Blvd. Those extra enforcement zones are in place from today all the way through September 3.
