Charlotte County Sheriff Bill Prummell will be taking the plunge for charity next month. Drug Free Charlotte County is hosting the Over the Edge event on April 14th, during which participants will be rappelling off of the Sun Trust building in Port Charlotte while raising funds and awareness for the organization. According to the sheriff’s office, Prummell will be taking part, and has challenged Punta Gorda Police Chief Pamela Davis to a fundraising duel.
