One Charlotte County homebuilder has been forbidden from starting new projects after being accused of taking their customers’ money and not finishing homes.
Casas Del Sol, a Port Charlotte-based business, has been the target of more than a half dozen complaints.
According to county officials, the company has continually lapsed on renewal permits and requests for more than two years.
In addition, those who have gotten a completed house have complained about the time it took and “shoddy workmanship.”
NBC-2 reports their permitting privileges have been suspended by Charlotte County and revoked by the city of Punta Gorda.
