Police are still looking for a Charlotte County man who is wanted in connection with an ongoing battery investigation on Rumford Street. 41-year old Roy Lee Poore is accused of seriously injuring a woman back on July 24 at a home in the 6200 block of Rumford Street. An intial investigation lasted nearly three days, but an arrest warrant was not drawn up and issued until September 6th.
