Charlotte County deputies arrested a man on charges including attempted murder Monday night after police say a man allegedly hooked up a woman’s camper to his SUV and drove it away. He then stopped, poured gasoline on the ground around it, and tried to light it on fire, but not before hearing two gunshots. The man, identified as 43-year old Joshua Tanner, then tried to escape in his SUV before finally being caught. He’s now charged with attempted felony murder, kidnapping, and fleeing to elude. Police only called it a ‘domestic disturbance’ and did not detail the relationship between Tanner and the woman.
