It’s a clean bill of health, so to speak, for nine Charlotte County businesses.
Members of the county sheriff’s Juvenile Unit teamed up on Friday for an enforcement sweep targeting the sale of alcohol and tobacco to minors.
The operation included compliance checks on seven commercial establishments licensed to sell alcohol and tobacco products. All nine of the establishments checked did not sell alcohol or tobacco to a minor.
That’s a change from last time out, when a pair of businesses were cited.
