The CDC has expanded the budget to reduce a backlog of pregnant women waiting for Zika test results.
The backlog has accumulated since Governor Scott announced pregnant women could receive free Zika tests at any public lab.
Some doctors say Scott may have caused this backlog in some way.
One doctor tells the Miami Herald that since he took office five years ago, 3,000 state health department jobs have disappeared.
