The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is paying special attention to traffic enforcement at several locations this week. Deputies will be watching for speeders on Midway Boulevard between Kings Highway and Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte and the entire length of McCabe Street in Port Charlotte. They’ll be watching for those running traffic lights at Kings Highway and Rampart Boulevard in Port Charlotte and at County Road 74 and US 17 in Punta Gorda.
