The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has announced the locations where deputies will pay special attention to traffic enforcement this week. Speed enforcement will be the focus in Port Charlotte along the entire length of Harborview Boulevard and Midway Boulevard between Tamiami Trail and Kings Highway. And deputies will be watching for traffic light violations in Port Charlotte at Tamiami Trail and Harborview Road and at Tamiami Trail and Harbor Boulevard. According to the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Charlotte County has had no vehicle deaths so far this year.
