The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has announced next week’s target areas for speed enforcement.
It has the radar guns working most closely on Edgewater Drive in Port Charlotte between Midway Boulevard and Tamiami Trail, and Tamiami Trail in Punta Gorda between Burnt Store and Zemel roads.
Additionally, deputies stake out two intersections next week to enforce traffic lights more closely.
Expect to find them in Punta Gorda at Duncan and Bermont roads, and in Port Charlotte at Edgewater Drive and Bayshore Road.
