The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office this week looks to enforce speed limits in Charlotte County.
Deputies concentrate on two specific stretches in town: Peachland Boulevard between Cochran and Harbor boulevards, and Tamiami Trail between Melbourne Street and Harbor Boulevard.
They also enforce traffic lights at two intersections: Tamiami Trail and Veterans Boulevard in Port Charlotte, and State Road 776 and Spinnaker Boulevard in Englewood.
