Deputies in Charlotte County have staked out a couple places to look for speeding drivers this week.
They have stationed themselves on Placida Road between Gasparilla and South McCall roads in Placida, and Hillsborough Boulevard between Kenilworth and South Cranberry boulevards in Port Charlotte.
Deputies have also staked out two intersections in Port Charlotte to enforce traffic lights: El JoBean Road and Flamingo Boulevard, and Peachland and Veterans boulevards.
