The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office pays extra attention in a couple spots for drivers who speed this week.
Deputies have staked themselves out on Ohara Drive in Port Charlotte, and South McCall Road in Englewood between Beach and Gasparilla roads.
They also enforce traffic lights more closely at two intersections this week: Tamiami Trail and Midway Boulevard in Port Charlotte, and South McCall and Pine roads in Englewood.
