CCSO K9 Units Track Two Separate Suspects

K9 deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office were utilized in two separate incidents Tuesday evening, successfully tracking and locating suspects during potentially dangerous situations for deputies. Tuesday evening, a suspected prowler was called in by a resident on Laramore Street in Port Charlotte. The person was 31-year-old Tony Noble, a wanted person out of Sarasota County on charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Noble was arrested and charged locally with resisting without violence. Around 1am Wednesday, 23-year-old Joseph Lawrence was pulled over, the fled the scene after telling police his girlfriend was having a baby. Deputies found drugs in the car and Lawrence was found by a K9 Unit as he was trying to enter the Charlotte Harbor.
