The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office has deputies out in a couple spots looking for speeders this week.
They have their radar guns working on Taylor Road in Punta Gorda, and on Veterans Boulevard in Port Charlotte between Tamiami Trail and Harbor Boulevard.
Additionally, deputies have decided to enforce traffic lights very closely at two Port Charlotte intersections: State Road 776 and Flamingo Boulevard, and Tamiami Trail and Murdock Circle.
