A person is dead after being hit by a car this morning in Cape Coral. Police said the hit-and-run crash happened around 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Cape Coral Parkway and Coronado Parkway. officers said is appears the car was traveling westbound when they hit the victim. Officers said this afternoon that they do have a person of interest and the possible vehicle involved.
