Authorities say one man is dead after a shooting at a home in southwest Florida. Cape Coral police said officers responded to a home last night following a report of a terminally ill man with a gun. When officers arrived, police say the man came outside and started shooting at officers. An officer returned fire and the man went back inside the house. Officers then heard a shot from inside the house. They found the man dead inside the house. No officers were injured.
