A number of calls came into the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office Thursday night about what was described as “large cats” in the area of Myakka City. Some of the calls said they might be tigers near Crosby Road in the east part pf Manatee County. Big Cat Habitat, which houses several tigers, were not missing any at their facility. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission got involved and no animals were found or reported missing.
