One less person has decided to run for Curt Clawson’s seat in Congress.
The News-Press reports Statehouse Republican Matt Caldwell has chosen instead to support Naples businessman Francis Rooney.
Meanwhile, Punta Gorda physician Paige Kreegel says he feels “no rush at this time” to make a decision.
Instead, Kreegel wants to see whether or not he can raise the money he needs through a political action committee before entering the race.
