More than 140 potential jurors were interviewed this week in the trial of a former Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputy charged with attempted murder. That number was quickly pared down to 65 by Tuesday, with more cuts to come. 46-year old Frank Bybee faces 18 felony counts, including attempted murder, exploitation of the elderly, burglary, theft and kidnapping. The trial will likely begin today and is expected to last for two weeks.
