Sarasota County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify a burglary suspect. Around 1:00 a.m. Sunday, the suspect broke into the Gulf Express gas station located at 2200 South Tamiami Trail in Venice. Video surveillance captured the suspect throwing a rock at the front door and shattering the glass. He is seen entering the business, jumping over a counter, and stealing several packs of cigarettes.
