Police are asking for help to find a man wanted for a home invasion and attempted sexual assault Thursday in Punta Gorda.
According to investigators the suspect confronted the victim at a Carmen Street home after knocking on the door.
He first attempted the sexual assault but failed and ended up demanding money, making off with an unspecified amount of cash.
Police say the suspect is black,in his mid 20s, around 6 foot tall with a medium build wearing a dark windbreaker, white gym shorts and white sneakers.
