Around a half dozen homes were threatened Thursday afternoon a 12-acre brush fire popped up in Pasadena Drive in Charlotte County.
The fire did cause closures of Pasadena Drive, Morningside Drive, and St. Yves Drive for parts of the afternoon.
The Charlotte County Fire Rescue/EMS, Florida Forest Service, and Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office all responded and quickly got the blaze under control.
