The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of a white male in his mid to late 20’s in the McDonald’s at 3280 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte. The male was found unresponsive in the restroom of the restaurant and apparently deceased. The sheriff’s office says, at this time, there is no threat to public safety and the investigation is continuing. More information will be released as it becomes available.
