A 63-year old Port Charlotte man died in a crash that shut down I-75 for nearly seven hours on Monday.
Police say Thomas Mykins died in a bizarre series of crashes. According to the FHP, Mykins collided with a car while changing lanes.

His car then stopped between the left and center lanes, where it was hit by a second car, spinning it facing the wrong direction in the northbound lanes.

Mykins then got out of his car, only to have a third vehicle hit his car, pushing it into him and killing him.

No charges were filed.
