A beach bash beat-down ends with deputies crashing the party and patrolling the sand. Hundreds of high school students crowded Fort Myers Beach Thursday afternoon after a flyer advertised a “BYOB” party to celebrate the last day of school.
Many classmates witnessed chaos unfold on the beach near Avenue E when a fight broke out. Multiple patrol vehicles belonging to Lee County Sheriff’s Office surrounded the area. Deputies maintained a presence on the beach until 5 p.m. when the bash ended.
