The Florida Department of Health has lifted a beach advisory in Port Charlotte Beach Park but the advisory remains in place for Boca Grande.
Both beaches were tested last week and found to have high levels of enterococcus bacteria.
After additional testing Tuesday, the advisory was lifted at Port Charlotte Beach Park but remains in place for Boca Grande as bacteria levels are still above an acceptable level.
Health officials will test Boca Grande again by the end of the week.
