This week, services and appointments at Bayfront Health Punta Gorda hospital will once again be good to go. The Florida Agency for Health Care Administration gave the facility the OK to begin inpatient admissions. The hospital had been closed since sustaining damage in Hurricane Irma, though its emergency room opened Sept. 14. Repairs and contractor work is continuing at Bayfront Health Punta Gorda’s Rehab and Wellness Center. Outpatient therapy appointments set for that center in Punta Gorda will remain rescheduled at their Port Charlotte facility until further notice.
