The second annual 5K Battle of the Bridges Regatta is Saturday.
152 entries from 18 different clubs are registered to participate.
The 3.1-mile headrace, which is hosted by Sarasota Scullers, runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a one-hour midday break.
Rowers will launch from the Venice Marine Park at 7:30 a.m. and head south to the starting point, which is off of Shamrock Park, about 1,000 meters south of the Circus Bridge.
