North Port Police and Fire Rescue responded to a call from the 2700 block of Traverse Avenue Wednesday evening to find a four-month-old child in a bathtub, unresponsive. A family member had been giving the baby a bath. The Englewood Sun reports the child was revived by first responders and taken to All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, where–at last report–he remained in critical condition. Foul play is not suspected.
