A man was fatally stabbed Wednesday in North Port following an attempted kidnapping of a woman. Police say the man tried to kidnap a woman around 6am when she was leaving her vehicle on Wesley Lane. He was stabbed during the struggle and fled the scene. He was found with life-threatening injuries a short time later and died at the hospital. The police did not confirm that the woman who was on scene stabbed the man, but also did not mention anybody else involved.
