A handful of Suncoast nonprofits will miss out on nearly $200,000 in grant money after missing a deadline.
Ed DiMarco, the CEO of the Suncoast Partnership to End Homelessness told the Herald-Tribune he’s responsible for the grant application error.
He told the paper he applied for the federal grant money and had eight weeks to complete the submission process.
On the day they were due, he said HUD notified him two documents had been rejected because of a firewall issue with the agency’s computer system.
