An Arcadia man has died following a crash in Charlotte County on Friday morning.
According to troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol, 63-year old Randy Bateman was traveling south on SR 31 when he drove off the roadway. Bateman jumped a culvert and went airborne before his car overturned. Troopers on scene said he was ejected from his vehicle.
Bateman was airlifted to Lee Memorial hospital but died the next day. The FHP is continuing to investigate the crash.
