Allegiant Air is changing their focus for a planned resort in Charlotte County.

The Sunseeker property had been initially planned to have 720 condominiums and a smaller 75-room hotel.
According to a presentation to investors last month, though, the Allegiant Travel Company is now focusing on the property as a resort hotel and putting the condo sales on hold.

Micah Richins, the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Sunseeker Resorts, told the Herald-Tribune that the company made the change after conducting due diligence on the market.
