A Port Charlotte woman was killed in a crash in North Port Saturday and alcohol may have played a part, according to police. 46-year-old Christine Fuhlman was on North Cranberry Blvd near Homewood Street around 3:30am and failed to maintain a lane and hit a concrete pole, causing her vehicle to flip. She was found dead at the scene and the crash remains under investigation.
