Regular air service between the U.S. and Cuba is restored for the first time since the 1959 Castro revolution. U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx was onboard JetBlue Flight 387 yesterday as two Cuban-American pilots flew the maiden voyage from Fort Lauderdale to Santa Clara, Cuba. American Airlines will begin regular air service between south Florida and Cuba next week. JetBlue will begin offering daily flights to Cuba from south Florida starting next month.
