A religious nonprofit that flies supplies to visiting mission groups in the Bahamas, Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Cuba is at an impasse with the city of Venice over a lease extension at the airport.

Agape Flights currently pays around 36 cents per square foot to lease its space at the airport- but its CEO told the Herald-Tribune he needs to put a new roof on the building as well as spend about $150,000 to redo the apron and taxiways.

He’s asking the city to drop the rent to 30 cents per square foot.
