The three men accused of dragging a shark behind a boat and capturing the act on video are expected in court. One man has waived his appearance connected with the July incident and the other two have the option of doing the same. Michael Wenzel, Robert Lee Benac and Spencer Heintz filmed the shark being dragged behind the boat they were operating in Egmont Key in Hillsborough County. They are also accused of using a spear gun to attack the shark. If convicted, they could get up to five years in prison.
