The man accused of committing arson and starting multiple fires in Charlotte County was the son of a deputy killed in the line of duty, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. 21-year-old Brandon Wilson has been arrested after an investigation of the fires in Port Charlotte. He is facing charges of arson and violation of probation.
