A 93-year-old Cape Coral man died Sunday morning when another driver ran a red light and collided with his car.
Police said Harry Carroll Wilson died at the hospital after the 9:30 a.m. crash on Del Prado Boulevard North at NE 6th Street.
Witnesses told police Wilson was making a left turn when another vehicle, driven by Carl Olof Reijer, 29, ran the red light and hit Wilson’s car head-on. Reijer was taken to the hospital with minor head injuries. The crash remains under investigation. Police said the crash was not alcohol/drug related.
