Florida’s prisons are back to normal following five recent inmate uprisings across the state.
Prison spokeswoman Michelle Glady says there were no injuries Monday at Columbia Correctional when about 40 inmates refused officers’ orders and took control of at least one dorm. She says the incident was quickly brought under control. The prison remained on lockdown Tuesday.
