The investigation continues into this morning’s armed robbery in Venice.
The sheriff’s office says it happened at the 7-Eleven on South Tamiami Trail.
It has identified the suspect as either a white or Hispanic man dressed completely in black. He had gloves and a mask, too, standing six feet and 190 pounds.
The sheriff’s office says this man jumped over the counter and had a knife as he robbed the clerk.
It believes he ran south from the store.
