VENICE — Jeffery Geske, 52 of Venice, has been sentenced to 44.5 years in prison for 40 counts of possessing child pornography and one count possession of meth, according to the state attorney’s office.

Geske was found guilty of downloading over 180 images of child sexual exploitation between 2017 and 2019.

He was arrested in March 2020 following an investigation into images being uploaded to Google through Geske’s computer IP address.

Geske downloaded images of children being molested, in some cases children were under the age of 5.
“Child pornography is more than just still pictures and videos — it is the result of horrific sexual exploitation and sex acts committed on real children,” said the lead prosecutor, Brice Van Elswyk.

“These children are forever victimized knowing that criminals have downloaded, traded and viewed their trauma, which is why those who commit this crime should be very aware that our office will work tirelessly to prosecute them to the fullest extent the law allows.”
