20th Judicial Circuit Leads the State with the Lowest Crime Rate

“As your State Attorney, I am proud to announce that for the 10th year in a row, the 20th Judicial Circuit had the lowest crime rate in the State of Florida, per the crime rate figures released this month in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement 2021 Annual Uniform Crime Report. Additionally, this circuit experienced a 35% decrease in crime,” said State Attorney Amira Fox.
The 20th Judicial Circuit covers Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee counties.
“I want to thank our partners in law enforcement for their hard work in keeping us at the lowest crime rate in Florida year after year. I also want to thank the incredible staff of the State Attorney’s Office who have worked so hard during this extremely challenging and busy year. According to the latest statewide statistics, our office prosecuted over 400 jury trials during the last year, one of the highest numbers in the state,” said State Attorney Fox
