A two-truck crash that ended up with one of the pickups catching fire puts the two drivers not in the hospital – but in jail.
Police say the trucks collided on Beach Road Tuesday night and the one driven by Matthew Thornton was fully engulfed when officers arrived.
According to investigators both Thornton and the other driver identifed as Steven Baker appeared to be intoxicated and both refused field sobriety tests.
Each was released after posting $1500 bond.
Thornton has an Oct. 26 court date and Baker is due back Nov. 2.
