Punta Gorda, FL – May 10, 2022
Just before 2 p.m. on May 9th, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident on Burnt Store Road that resulted in the death of two construction workers. The victims were identified as 41-year-old Marcos Santiz-Lopez and 25-year-old Brandon M. Colburn.
Major Crimes detectives responded on scene and the preliminary investigation into the incident has discovered no signs of foul play or criminal intent.
