North Port Library Recognized For Contribution To The Community
On Thursday, Jan. 18, North Port Library received a North Port Spirit Award from South County Heathy Living. The award recognizes individuals, businesses and organizations for making a sustained and meaningful contribution to the health and vitality of the region.
Pictured with Sarasota County Libraries and Historical Resources staff, Publisher Randy Moore presented the award to North Port Library Manager Sara Brown, stating that libraries not only provides books and promotes literacy, but serves as a non-traditional wellness center.
