North Port, FL – Residents of North Port and neighboring areas are gearing up for a unique opportunity to find hidden treasures and support local businesses at the upcoming Community Yard Sales event. Scheduled to take place at the City Center Front Green by City Hall at 4970 City Hall Blvd.
The Community Yard Sales event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Free parking and admission ensure that all attendees can enjoy a hassle-free shopping experience.
In addition to the typical household items one might expect at a yard sale, shoppers will also have the chance to explore the Crafter’s Corner, a special section featuring handmade items from talented local artisans. From intricately crafted decor to personalized gifts, the Crafter’s Corner offers a diverse selection of one-of-a-kind products, providing attendees with the perfect opportunity to snag something truly unique.
For those interested in participating as sellers, the event offers an opportunity to declutter and earn extra cash. Seller spaces are available for a fee of $20 per space or $10 per table. Applications can be picked up at either the George Mullen Activity Center (1602 Kramer Way) or Morgan Family Community Center (6207 W. Price Blvd.), but space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
Meanwhile, food vendors are invited to apply online. While submission does not guarantee participation, selected vendors will be contacted by a member of the Parks & Recreation staff within 72 business hours of submitting their application.
