Charlotte County Emergency Management Update
The Disaster Recovery Center and Multi-Agency Resource Center will now be closed on Sundays ‼
The DRC is open 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Saturday at Tringali Park Community Center, 3460 N. Access Road in Englewood. It provides disaster survivors with information from Florida agencies, FEMA, and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Individuals can get help applying for federal assistance and disaster loans, update applications and learn about other resources available.
The Multi-Agency Resource Center is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday-Saturday at the Port Charlotte Town Center mall to assist residents affected by Hurricane Milton. The center, located at 1441 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte (inside the mall, across from the FYE store), provides local and state resources to support recovery efforts.
Individuals affected by Hurricane Milton in Florida can also apply for assistance until Jan. 7, 2025, online or by phone:
