Charlotte County Opens Two Emergency Distribution Centers on Sept. 30

Charlotte County, Fla. (Sept. 29, 2024) — In response to recent weather events, Charlotte County will open two distribution centers for water and Meals Ready to Eat (MREs) on Monday, Sept. 30. The centers will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., or until supplies run out.

Residents can access the distribution sites at the following locations:

• Port Charlotte Town Center Mall (Macy’s parking lot), 1441 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte
• Tringali Park Community Center, 3460 N. Access Rd, Englewood
